This product was developed specially for the woven fabric, knitwear and tufting industries. Faults caused by dropped stitches or broken threads, which may occur during production, e.g. through stretching, are very difficult to correct.
This is where FIXON Mesh Adhesive is used. The fault is covered with the adhesive, which dries very quickly. The fault is thus sealed and cannot spread any further.
If the fabric is to be cut, we recommend applying the adhesive along the entire cutting line. This prevents stitches from running.
The adhesive has excellent fastness, so the fault can be disregarded during further processing. Unlike goods repaired by sewing, products treated with mesh adhesive do not leave imprints when rolled up. The adhesive can also be used on other materials.
FIXON Special Mesh Adhesive is supplied in canisters holding approx. 1 litre or in tubes containing 100 ml.
Directions for use
Unscrew the tube cap, cover the fault with the adhesive and wait until it is dry. Close the tube tightly after use.
To avoid problems, always carry out preliminary trials before use.
