2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit the website, the server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (server log files): IP address, date and time of access, requested page or file, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser and operating system used.

This processing serves to provide and secure the website and is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the hosting provider.

3. Contact form and email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, email address, phone number, country and your message) in order to handle your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Form data is sent to us by email and is not stored in a database on the web server. We delete your data as soon as it is no longer needed to process your inquiry, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Cookies, analytics and fonts

This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking services. The fonts used are stored locally on our server; no connections to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) are made when you visit the website.

5. Online shop

Our online shop is operated as a separate application. The privacy policy published there applies to data processing in the shop (e.g. customer account, orders).

6. Links to external services

The “Get directions” button on the contact page links to Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Data is only transmitted to Google when you click the link. Google’s privacy policy applies to processing there.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). Please use the contact details above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, P.O. Box 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden, Germany.

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
